Why We Do What We Do

PNW Boat Rentals started with a simple goal — spend more time doing what matters most. When our kids were younger, I was working long hours and felt like I was missing too many of the moments that go by way too fast. I knew I wanted a different kind of life for our family — one built around time together, adventure, and the outdoors we love so much.

So, we took a leap, sold our house, and built PNW Boat Rentals from the ground up.

Living in North Idaho, we’re surrounded by some of the most beautiful water and mountains anywhere, and we wanted a way to enjoy it more while helping others do the same. Now I work at Schweitzer during the winter and spend summers on the lake helping families, friends, and visitors experience Lake Pend Oreille the way we do.

We believe some of the best memories are made outside — swimming in the lake, exploring hidden coves, watching sunsets from the water, and spending uninterrupted time with the people you love most. That’s why we’re passionate about making the lake easy and accessible for everyone, whether it’s your first time on a boat or your favorite summer tradition.
